MADHURA AS METROPOLITAN

nowadays madhura- vasigal has forgotten the word "thakali" - its cost is trying to get centum ,moreover the concept of bus as cheap transport is dying out. Bus fares have hiked doubly and madhurai's boundaries are being extended and the so called "outer" places are turning to plots. In one point of view - these signs maybe of madhurai turning to be a metropolitan - " as cost of living has increased , many outer regions are developed , there is a proposal of SEZ coming". but still more there is no development of middle-class man's life. madhurai has got most of the negative aspects of a metropolitan, it should also get the positive aspects , there should be an uniform infrastructure development, many small villages all around madhurai does not have proper facilities- this condition has to be changed. it should have reputed educational institution and corporates. Lived in madhurai for decades , loving its individuality, iam bewildered at its one side development. this development has affected the life of normal people.so let us hope for overall development of our " thoongaa nagaram "and contribute towards it .

My niece’s first exam

Susmita just finished her first struggle with paper and mind - quarterly examinations. My sister, Susmita's mother, collected the progress report in the school. The report card showcased Susmita’s grades in all her subjects. My sister has enquired about the papers in which Susmita has comparatively gone down than her other papers. The teacher answered that Susmita refused to answer deliberately. “She knows all the answers”, said the teacher “and we are sure of it, but she never answered me during the day of those exams. The reason she said that she must be asked at the first. She wishes to be the first child to answer my question and not the last. But the fact is that her roll number happens to be at the end.” Hearing the words of the teacher my sister and all my family members had a roaring laughter admiring the creative thinking of Susmita.
